The purpose of the FCE is to determine your ability to perform specific job related duties and/or evaluate your capacity to perform everyday life skills and functions such as walking, climbing stairs, gripping objects and lifting various objects. The FCE data generated is based on standardized, reliable and valid information, which is then interpreted and put into a computerized report format. This report is sent to the Referring Party (i.e. Insurance Company, Third Party Administrator, Attorney, Government Agency, Employer or Physician).
